When Canadian rapper Drake premiered his new show, OVO Sound Radio, on Apple Music’s Beats 1 airwaves, one of the songs that hit the airwaves during the 2-hour long program was Wizkid’s hit single, “Ojuelegba.” The classic remix dominated conversation on social media and would go on to crown Wizkid as Nigeria’s frontline artist, one who is breaking borders and fast becoming a global phenomenon.
So, it didn’t come as a surprise to many of Wizkid’s fans today when he took to his Instagram page to write Drake, who turns 29 today, a sweet birthday message.
“Birthday love to @champagnepapi!! U jumping on my record changed everything,” Wizkid said in his Instagram note to Drake. “Blessings and love to u and yours!”

That’s enough tenderness from Wizkid to make us believe just how much he appreciates Drake, but it also reminded us that the Wizkid didn’t even write his girlfriend Tania Omotayo such a loving note on her own birthday. LOL.
