President Buhari Demands Law Enforcement Agencies To Deal With Nollywood Pirates

President Buhari Demands Law Enforcement Agencies To Deal With Nollywood Pirates
Reports have it that President Muhammadu Buhari has directed law enforcement agencies to curb the piracy act in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

Buhari said movie producers must reap the fruits of their labour. The president gave the directive after receiving a briefing from the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan and her Directors yesterday, July 14, 2015, in Abuja.

Buhari’s media aide, Femi Adeshina released a statement on the issue. It reads: “Nollywood is making progress. We should work with them. Unless they are backed, they will be ruined by pirates who want to reap where they have not sowed,”

“They have built an industry with their own sweat. It is therefore incumbent on us to give them the necessary support.”

In other news, most movie producers collected money from Goodluck Jonathan during the 2015 presidential elections and promised to deliver over 1 million votes for him but they failed.

Can you see life?
