this adorable baby? On Father’s Day, a photo was posted on Facebook of Ryan
holding a little one, and the caption told the story of how Ryan became a
father.
On June 15, while the world posted pics
of them with their dads for Father’s Day, a fan account on Facebook posted a
photo of Ryan Gosling, 33, holding a baby. The photo’s caption said that Ryan
adopted a friend’s baby — but how did we miss hearing about this?
We can only image how female fans
reacted when they saw the photo that was posted to Facebook. In fact, nearly a
million people thought that the photo was real after it was posted online.
In the photo, Ryan looks away from the camera with a smile on his face
as his right arm wraps around the baby’s stomach. A lengthy caption accompanied
the photo that mentioned that Ryan adopted the baby from a close friend who
passed away from cancer. Aww, how sad is that?
“This little guy was only 9 months old when I became his dad,” the
caption read. “His mom and I were great friends before she passed away from
cancer. I promised her, I’d always look after him. So, I had decided to step up
and become his dad. He brought me so much joy. He was my everything.”
