According to police reports, the 4-year-old boy died from internal bleeding. The autopsy showed that the boy had suffered injuries to his liver, pancreas, kidneys and lungs. Doctors said the crucial damage was directed from internal hemorrhages, broken ribs, a broken leg, and damage to his organs.
Investigators were able to determine that not only did he kill a 4-year-old boy but he sexually abused his girlfriend’s youngest daughters.
Neighbor Elyse Clower says in an interview “I told officers that we did think he was scared. He wasn’t very clean. I have two children and you can tell if somebody is neglectful to a child. My fiancée and I are heavy-hearted that we didn’t say anything, but you don’t want to get in people’s personal lives. I just encourage everybody if you feel anything in your gut to do something about it. It’s better that you say something and you’re wrong than having something happen at the risk of the child’s safety.”
Other locals claim that the children of the home were often quiet and shrug to which suspicion would raise upon the things that happen behind doors.
