One day after news broke that Christina had given birth to her second child, the singer confirmed the news by revealing her daughter’s name.
On Aug. 16, Christina gave birth to baby girl named Summer Rain Rutler.
“So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world,” the singer wrote on Twitter, revealing the exciting news for the first time.
Summer Rain was born via C-section at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif., reports Us Weekly.
This is the second child for Christina who has a 6-year-old son, Max Bratman, from her previous marriage to Jordan Bratman.

Christina Played Music For Her Daughter Just Days Before Giving Birth
As if she knew her little girl would soon be on the way, Christina spent some quality time playing her own new music for her baby girl while she was still in the womb.
On Aug. 11, just five days before giving birth, Christina shared a very sweet photo of herself in the recording studio with headphones over her large baby bump.
“Baby girl getting first listen to what mama’s been creating in the studio,” the singer captioned the photo, in which she is looking down lovingly at her bump. So sweet!
Now that baby girl has arrived she can give some proper feedback to Christina’s new tunes — ha!
